Keep skiing.
Our dream is to keep skiing deep powder tomorrow, and the day after that. That’s why sustainability and longevity sit at the heart ofour design philosophy. But never at the expense of performance, joy, or our Scandinavian aesthetic.
Kang is made for those who love skiing and mountaineering—from hard-core freeriders to conscious enthusiasts.
We’re driven by curiosity.
How can we find the best possible materials from both a sustainability and performance perspective?
How can we source renewable, low CO2 materials that are made close to home in Sweden? We don’t always have the answers. But we keep searching. We keep learning.
We don’t make the cheapest poles out there. But we believe in building gear that makes people care more—about their gear, their turns, and the mountains. If that helps keep the snow around a little longer, we think it’s worth paying a little more.
Sustainability Pledge
One day, we’ll be fully circular.
We aim for the lowest possible CO2 footprint in our
materials:
We use organic bamboo, which actually removes CO2 from the atmosphere.
Our recycled aluminum tubes reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin aluminum.
Our plastics are recyclable.
Most of our components are made in Sweden
Closer to our Åre workshop. More control over raw materials. Better working conditions.
Longevity first
We choose materials that last.
Our durability testing is extensive—designed to endure cold, heat, and time.
We’re always improving—chasing that perfect balance of performance and responsibility.
Circular is the future
We’re not there yet, but we’re moving toward 100% recyclability, piece by piece.
