Kang poles are designed, developed and produced in Sweden, more precisely in Åre.

Our dream is to keep skiing deep powder tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. And even after that. That’s why we make ski poles of environmentally smart materials such as flax, bamboo, leather and bioplastic. But never at the expense of performance and always led by our Scandinavian design philosophy. Kang are made for people who love skiing, from the hard-core freerider to the conscious mountain lover.

Recycled Freeride (adjustable)

Our first-ever recycled ski pole. The Recycled Freeride (Adjustable) is a brand new product but comes with a soul that might have lived on the mountains before.

Even if the tubes are recycled, the detachable strap system is not. It’s one of our latest innovations that allows you to remove the strap and ride safely on powder days. The design is a tribute to the original Kang look but with a bolder appearance, boasting a 22mm diameter on the upper tube.

Bamboo All-mountain

Bamboo isn’t common in the deep Nordic forests - but combined with Scandinavian technology and design - it’s a match made in heaven. Bamboo is for obvious reasons an organic material with outstanding durability - providing you a pole to trust in any condition.

Flax ski poles - made of recyclable materials

Flax is a graceful and delicate seed known for it’s beautiful blue flowers and durable fibres. It’s Latin name means “most useful”, and for good reason. In 2014 we decided to create fat poles from flax, a recyclable material yet with our high requirements on performance such as lightweight, durability and flexibility. Our formula is 70 % flax and 30% carbon fibre, which makes the pole hard-wearing but also flexible and less stiff.
