Kang poles are designed, tested & built
The Heart Of Swedish Skiing
Åre is the heart of Swedish skiing, no matter if you’re carving groomers, chasing powder, or heading into the backcountry.
It’s a place skiers always come back to. A place where gear gets used and tested for real. We assemble the products in our own workshop.
Åre is the well-deserved home of the Swedish ski community, regardless if you are a piste, freeride or ski-touring enthusiast.
Even if you are not from Åre or have been there before, it’s the place Swedish skiers all return to.
Åre is a great place to get inspiration and real-world testing of our design development and product features.
We’ve got our workshop right here.
That’s where design happens. Where bamboo becomes poles. Where grips, baskets, and tubes come together to become a Kang pole.
For the parts we can’t make in Åre, we look first to Swedish partners who share our values.
If we can’t find them here, we look in Europe. If not there, then further out. And of-course, only if they truly align with our quality, people- and sustainability philosophy.
Meet The Makers
The crew behind every pole — where craftsmanship meets adventure.
Behind every pole we craft is a team of makers who live and breathe the outdoors.
Each of them brings their own mix of skill, personality passion and grit to the workshop.
Product Development
With Pro skiers and Sports Tech Research Centre.
We put real energy into finding features that improve your ski days. That means constant iteration and product evolution.
We’ve got a global team of riders who help us test in the real world. They're the backbone of our feedback loop.
But we don’t stop there, we also do lab testing on materials and performance features.
