Freerider Max Palm

Since we are passionate about creating the best ski poles in the world, we want our poles to be used by the best skiers in the world. Therefore, we are humbled and proud that Max Palm have chosen to ski with our poles since 2018. If you haven’t heard about Max before, we are convinced that you will hear a lot more about him in the future, at least if you are interested in freeride.

So, who is Max?

Well, in 2019, at the age of 16, he won the Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships in competition with FWT skiers such as Carl Regnér, Reine Barkered and David Deliv. Word. Oh, he also won the Freeride Junior Tour in 2020. The season 2020/21 started well for Max who won the first Freeride Junior Tour competition in Verbier.

Born by Swedish skiers Pia (ski instructor) and Stefan (mountain guide) and raised in Serre Chevalier and Chamonix, France, Max is now a professional skier and part of both the Rossignol and Giro pro team. This is made possible by his studies at IUT Annecy for high level athletes and training with Les Arcs Freeski Academy, allowing him to spend his winters skiing while studying.

Max favorite pole is Bamboo Monochromatic since it holds up even when the double backflips don’t go as planned, but when hiking into the backcountry he chooses the Telescopic Monochromatic instead.

We are truly blessed to have Max as an ambassador and the feedback he gives us is invaluable as it allows us to improve our poles – we are looking forward to seeing what the future brings for Max, best of luck buddy!
